five15 commission performed at the Queen's House, Royal Museums Greenwich

The five15 project's first commission, So true a fool is love by Cheryl Frances-Hoad, was performed by the London Oriana Choir at a reception in the Great Hall on 10 October to celebrate the reopening of the Queen's House. The inspiration for Cheryl's piece is Gentileschi’s Joseph and Potiphar’s Wife – one of a sequence of paintings commissioned for the Queen’s House by Charles I and Henrietta Maria. Now part of the Royal Collection, the painting is on loan to the Museum and is on display upstairs in the King’s Presence Chamber, for the first time since the 1650s.
